Are you
wondering why....
So many students are struggling in the classroom?
There is an epidemic of students with attention problems?
So many students get frustrated with reading?
Educators, home schoolers, and parents get frustrated?
Students are struggling and we need to find additional
ways to promote classroom success!
EYES ON TRACK offers solutions to educators and home
school teachers to improve EYE TRACKING and
VISUAL-PERCEPTUAL SKILLS!
The word vision is usually equated with the health
of the eye, and it is assumed that "seeing" is
the same as visual perception. It is also assumed, by a
majority of educators and parents, that children and
young adults with healthy eyes (20/20 eyesight) have no
visual or perceptual problems and therefore, if material
is presented to them, there is nothing to prevent their
"seeing" it correctly and learning the material
rapidly.
This assumption is false!
EYES ON TRACK is a system of FUN
and INEXPENSIVE activities for the CLASSROOM, HOME
SCHOOL, or for HOME!
Each activity improves one or
more of the following visual skills necessary for
successful learning:
Fixation (eye contact);
improving the ability to keep attention focused
Eye Movement Control (eye
tracking and eye-jumps); improving the ability
to keep place while reading, align math problems/graphs
correctly, improve copying, and reading fluency and
comprehension.

Focusing; improving
near/far work such as copying from the chalkboard or
overhead projector, relieving eye strain and fatigue.
Eye/hand Coordination;
improving shape and letter formation, copying, printing
and handwriting.
Visual Bilaterality;
improving directionality, form/letter/number perception,
letter/number and word reversals.
